Four Days Later... And What a Difference!
“Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.”

RFA Success!
So, we got up early last Thursday to head out to Tucson for my appointment for my Radio Frequency Abalation (RFA). We got there early, because we never know what the traffic is going to be like on the 90 minute drive up there.
They got me in early, and I remember laying down on the bed, hearing the anesthesiologist tell me he’d administered the drugs, and then I realized I was awake, let them know, and they informed me that they were done!
I was a little wobbly afterwards, but Peter got me Wendy’s breakfast—yum!—and coffee he’d brought from home. So, I was doing all right afterwards.
John Wick: Chapter 4
By then, it was around 11am. Peter called to see if we could check into our hotel early, but they weren’t ready for guests. No clue what was going on in Tucson that had all the hotels aflutter, but we needed to figure out what we were going to do next.
So, we decided to see a movie. Specifically, this movie:
Zero spoilers.
This was a great movie and an amazing addition to the franchise. The depth of the characters and the layered storytelling kept me not only awake, but invested. Definitely recommend, if you are a fan of this series (or the impeccable Mr. Reeves!).
Indian Food FTW
We did finally go to the hotel, after I hurt myself walking too quickly in the mall. Peter had Indian food delivered from our favorite Indian restaurant: Sher E Punjab.

It was exactly what I wanted, and we had enough to take home on Friday.
Steve was AWESOME!
After a good deal of rest, we took a Lyft to 191 Toole to see Steve Hofstetter and pals.

It was an amazing show! We laughed the entire time! Definitely recommend seeing him, if he comes near you!
We also got some great merch!

The t-shirt was from his tour that was cancelled in 2020, because of the panini, and you can guess why he chose not to sell them at that time. The book by Kelly Collette is for kids and adults with anxiety, so, of course, we had to get it. The sunglasses say ‘gay sunglasses’ for a bit from one of his opening acts.
Saturdays are for Sleep
Saturday was boring. Which never makes me sad.
Unfortunately, I think we’re getting sick, us parental units. Peter sounds worse, but that just means he got the germs first, probably from his once-a-week trip into the office. Guess that’s fair, seeing as I brought COVID into the house a couple of months ago.
So we caught up on our shows, talked to the kids and like I said, nothing. :-)
Mother’s Day
We celebrate Mother’s Day, but not really? I mean, I only wanted to sleep in (I did until 8am), be fed (ElderSpawn made pancakes from scratch for brunch and buttered chicken curry for dinner), and do whatever I wanted.
Which was art. Lots and lots and lots of art.

Tell me how your weekend was!
Love,
C
First, I am very glad that the procedure went well! That is great news!
Second, it sounds like you had a good weekend except for the sickies. I hope whatever it is doesn't devolve into something too serious.
Indian Food is my favorite. :)
I spent Saturday morning with my mother over coffee and a bagel. It was nice to see her. Ran some errands. Yesterday I took my new bike to a new park and enjoyed the most excellent weather. I pushed myself physically, but I feel fine today. Scott got me the nicest card and Mother's Day gift. So all in all, a good weekend!
