- Please do not have a child if you don't want one. I have seen the heartbreak of the unwanted. (That's different, btw, than wanting a child but worrying you won't be a good parent.)
2. It's 2024. No more adherence to religious or cultural standards to procreate. If the infamous 'they' object, tell them it's not their choice, and no, you will not wait for a mystery 'future partner'.
C. Children are people, not property. If you can't honor that, don't have/adopt them.
