- Being bi doesn't make me a cheater bc I'm 'not getting what I need' from a man. Nor am I 'tainted' or 'ruined'. Bi erasure is frustrating.
2. Being married to a man doesn't negate my bi-ness either. I married my husband bc he tickles my brain as much as my kitty, and trust me when I say he doesn't need his dick to do that. Tho I wholly appreciate it. ;-)
C. As oppressed as we are as a community, you'd think we'd do better about the internalized hate and gatekeeping.
This is simplistic, but I've always believed EVERYONE is Bi whether they like it or know it or not. Maybe it's just a matter of, consciously, to what degree (probably wrong usage & with apologies), which I think might have to do with a good bit of self awareness, something I think has generally been lacking in most Americans at a minimum.
Thanks for this post. I don't need to tell you that you could obviously elaborate if you wanted -- make it into a 6 or 10-piece series for example. I mention that because you're very good at such things so it's just a thought -- no pressure.
