Nighttime thoughts
-Giving up social media until after the election has been heartbreaking, like a mental death. Could I have managed the news cycle? 100% Would it be worth the deluge? Absolutely not.
1 - I feel like purposefully lying to people to win isn't winning at all. If you have to lie, then you knew your platform was unhinged, especially in power grabs.
C. You know that numb level of depression where you just want to stay high and sleep forever? Not suicidal ideation, just a void for a while. No? Just me. Oh. Okay.
I, too, know and am in C. Unfortunately, current responsibilities make that impossible. So, no, not just you. No matter how one feels there's always someone who feels very close to, if not the same, as you do. I stand with you in solidarity. ((((hugs))))
