It never fails to amuse/annoy me the lengths that people will go to in order to vilify Halloween. Seriously, Samhain is the holiest night of most pagan faiths. They aren’t snatching up your children, casting spells over candy, or sacrificing black cats.
While we’re at it, no one, and I mean, no one, is giving your kids drugs in funny candy shapes. It’s not altruistic, either. Drugs are expensive. When you say bullshit like that, I automatically think, “Well, they’ve never bought weed, much less anything else.”
C. Stop yucking on other people’s yum. You want to be boring? Fine. Do it alone. Stop trying to force the rest of us to restrain ourselves from costumes, candy and celebration.
